SOULJA BOY TELL EM’ has released his new music video “2 MILLI” from his album “THE DeANDRE WAY” due to hit stores on the 28th July 2010. The video was directed by DALE “RAGE” RESTEGHIN and TODD ANGKASUWAN and showcases a 3d environment which gives a “futuristic” feel to the video.

The track was inspired after SOULJA BOY gained over 2 million followers on his personal Twitter account and he released it as a tribute to his fans. He even shows his twitter page and does a shout out to his fans.

This is what he had to say to MTV:

“My lyrics and word play, my punch lines, my metaphors is on another level, my beats, my production skills … I just like to go to the studio and zone out. I learned how to take constructive criticism a lot better, so I just sit back and watch the game, seeing what everybody’s doing, who’s hot, who’s selling, what’s going on. My intentions are good for this third album, just ready to do it.” 

So my thoughts?

Nothing special… if you like unnecessary cursing and a drawn out version of what I actually call rapping… this would be the track for you!

The visuals, however, are quite cool… I love the moving technology and the great use of compositing techniques of 3d elements and real footage.
