I,  LOUISE DECOURCEY-DAWE, am the Founder and C.E.O of BUTTERFLY PRODUCTIONS (BUTTERFLY BUZZ) and I am the Editor of the official Butterfly Productions International Blog website .

I am a young entrepreneur with a passion for the music and the entertainment industry. From my toddler ages I spent loads of time listening to music and dancing and always had this strong urge to perform. My idols were BEYONCE, JAMES BROWN, CELINE DION and like many others I had an obsession with wanting to be just like MICHAEL JACKSON… That’s right I threw on the white glove and the white socks, grabbed any hat I could find and imitated every move I saw on the TV screen.

I was always involved in performances from shows and commercials to dance exhibitions and loved anything to do with the arts and music.

At 17 I began the journey to become part of the entertainment world and graduated with an Associates Degree in Mass Communication at a college in Barbados in the Caribbean which covered areas such as Radio, Television production, Public relations, Communication Law etc.

A few years later I graduated from a University in London, UK where I studied Broadcast Media which dealt with Sound & Music Production, 3D animation, motion graphics, filming, television broadcasting, visual effects, editing, green/blue screen work, compositing and other areas within the media industry.

I also attended another University in the south of England where I received my certificate for Advertising and Marketing Communications.

During my university years in London I started off as a Runner at the BBC in London where I worked on programs such as ’Child Of Our Time’ and ‘Olympic Dreams’ and was later promoted and moved on to become Production Team Assistant where I managed all of the edit suites at the BBC White City Main building along with four other team members.

During this time I also worked as the London Representative for Capitol Records International Artist, JAICKO where I ran his fan website and social networking sites.

I now run my own entertainment management company, LDD Projects, Butterfly Buzz and I am the Executive Assistant to JAICKO and I manage a young female artist JONEAL from NYC.

My modeling career:

Most of my modeling career was based in the Caribbean in different islands such as Barbados and Antigua and large cities such as London in the UK. I have worked with several Modeling agencies, For example: Lonsdale Advertising, Virgo Communications and several others in the Caribbean.
