KELIS hit the BELVEDERE MUSIC LOUNGE during the Miami Winter Music Conference along with DJ RASHIDA where the crowd went crazy for KELIS‘ electrifying performance. She performed her new track “22ND CENTURY” off her new album”FLESH TONE” which is due to hit stores this summer.

Okay so I never thought I’d ever say this, but…… I am not feeling this song by USHER.
The beat is hard but where has the ultra-sexy soothing voice from Usher gone?… This actually made me cringe!
It’s not dreadful … it’s just not as great as many of the other videos Usher has come out with.. A big let down!
Having USHER in 3D is always a plus though.. so can’t complain too much!

Okay so here is the latest music video from KELIS‘ fifth album “FLESH TONE” called “ACAPELLA” which is due to hit stores on June 22nd this year.
The visual content of the video is amazing as there are loads of artistic elements which make up the final piece of this video.
This video was directed by John “Rankin” Waddell and Chris Cottam.
The costumes, make-up and exotic props being used are definitely complimenting the very techno inspired beat. So weird… but she looks great and its a whole new direction she is going in…. funny enough… it actually works for her.
My verdict?
It’s cool to look at but would I pay money for this track…. NOPE!
