MAN MARRIES A PILLOW!

OK so call me crazy, but this is just a little too weird for me!

28-year old LEE JIN-GYU has fallen in love with his pillow from Japan so much that he married the ‘dakimakura’ (a large pillow -often with a popular ainime character printed on it)

Metro reported that their nuptials were “eagerly chronicled by the local media.“

  ’He is completely obsessed with this pillow and takes it everywhere,’ said one friend. 

‘They go out to the park or the funfair where it will go on all the rides with him. Then when he goes out to eat he takes it with him and it gets its own seat and its own meal.‘

ACTIVISION BLIZZARD‘S “CALL OF DUTY: MODERN WARFARE 2” has been named “UK’s Second Best Selling Game“.

The game has beaten ROCKSTAR’s “GRAND THEFT AUTO: SAN ANDREAS“.

Metro reported:

“The first-person shooter (FPS) was released in November, building on the huge success of Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare. It is the sixth title in the Call Of Duty series, with the four other installments focusing on combat in various arenas of war during World War II. 

Activision have confirmed that Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has sold over 14 million copies worldwide and brought the company almost £665m in revenue.

The multiplayer aspect of the game will get its first downloadable content on March 30, the Stimulus Pack, which will enable five new maps for players at a cost of £10.20 (1200 Microsoft Points). PS3 and PC gamers will have to wait for the pack, as it will have a staggered release over the platforms. 

Activision has confirmed a second expansion for 2010 and that Treyarch will a new Call of Duty in Autumn. 2011 will see Infinity Ward release the eighth Call of Duty, though the studio is in turmoil after two senior designers on the Modern Warfare project were fired recently for breach of contract.”

WORLD’s Shortest Man Dies

Chinese-born HE PIINGPING, the shortest man in the world, has died after heart complications on Saturday in Italy whilst he was filming a TV Show.

HE PINGPING was only 74cm (29 in) tall (or short) and became a record holder in 2008.

According to Metro, “He suffered a form of primordial dwarfism and was born in China’s northern region of Inner Mongolia in 1988.”

“For such a small man, he made a huge impact around the world,” Glenday added in a statement.

He was a chain smoker and his family said he stopped growing after he turned 18.

LINE-UP for “BREAKFAST IN BARBADOS”

The Barbados Tourism Authority (BTA) has teamed up with Canada’s CHUM FM to put on one of the biggest shows for 2010 featuring some of the biggest international artists.

Barbados’ very own JAICKO LAWRENCE is set to be the opening act for the 25th annual BREAKFAST IN BARBADOS promotion due to take place on the 17th April – 24rd April 2010.


The concert will be held at Holder’s House on Thursday April 22, 2010 and will be showcasing talent such as JAICKO, BARE-NAKED LADIES and NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK (NKOTB)

LLOYD BANKS has teamed up with JUELZ SANTANA for their new hot music video “BEAMER, BENZ OR BENTLEY“

I am absolutely loving the beat to this song…. Definitely one for the clubs!!!!!

Ok so other than the typical girls wearing close to nothing and throwing themselves all over the stars and the “artistic” lipstick on the girls,the only thing that makes this video any different would be …… ummm…… oh, that’s right … there is nothing different…

I do however like the fact that the camera does a shake in sync to the beat of the base…. kind of emphasizes that the base is just that great!!!!!

My verdict on the video itself…. It’s nothing new and it’s not very exciting really…. but given that the beat of the song is that hot…. I give it a pass!
