VIBE introduces K MICHELLE & Live performance of FALLIN’

Singer, writer and musician, K. MICHELLE, is an artist of many talents. Her album tells her life story.

“Everything that I do is in this album … I sing about what I’m going through at the moment. For example, I don’t have any love songs on the album because I’m not in love right now.”

 K. MICHELLE started off in Memphis, TN. Her songs are life stories which lead to the title of her debut album,”PAIN MEDICINE” which will be dropping this fall on HITZ COMMITTEE/JIVE. 

For several months K. MICHELLE travelled around Asia as a singer with Memphis orchestra Sound Fuzion and returned to take up an office job- she soon realized this wasn’t meant for her.

 “I got a job in sales. I sat in a cubicle all day. I’d walk around the office singing. That’s when I realized that was not the life for me.”

According to her official website, MICHELLE is already making fans including fellow Jive recording artist R. KELLY.

“Getting the opportunity to sit with R. KELLY was so beneficial to me. He taught me so much about music, the business, and being true to myself.”

VITA CHAMBERS hits the stage at the 2010 POP CON Festival

Barbadian singer, VITA CHAMBERS, hit the stage with full force for her performance coreographed by FATIMA ROBINSON at the 2010 POP-CON Festival on February 20th at the NASSAU COLISEUM. Other performances on the night included JUSTIN BEIBER, SELENA GOMEZ, PUSH PLAY, CARE BEARS ON FIRE, SEAN KINGSTON and NAT & ALEX WOLFF!

VITA’s album “THE GET GO” is due to release this month and will include some of her hit singles “LIKE BOOM” and “YOUNG MONEY“

Barbadian sensation, JAICKO, releases his remix of RIHANNA‘s “RUDE BOY” and it is hottttttt!!!!!

JAICKO is out looking for his own “RUDE GIRL” and gets a little cheeky and playful in his song as he tells the chicks “Ask for what you want, want, want and it’s done, done, done … Call me B2K cause we gon’ bump, bump, bump” …. Ah… gotta love it!

So far the ladies are definitely feeling this track and everyone is anxiously holding tight for the release of JAICKO‘s new album “CAN I”

BIG BOI has teamed up with TOO $HORT, SAM CHRIS and GEORGE CLINTON to produce his latest track “FO YO SORROWS“

Was wondering what happened to BIG BOI as it seems that he disappeared off the radar for a bit. Well wait no more… he is back and in full force!

Here is his new video for his song “FO YO SORROWS” off his upcoming album “SIR LUSCIOUS LEFT FOOT“.

This video portrays CLINTON in a very spaced out look (he almost looks drunk to me)

50 CENT’s Bodyguard attacks paparazzi!

This weekend whilst 50 CENT was inside his hotel in Copenhagen, Denmark, his bodyguard attacked the Danish paparazzi who were waiting outside the hotel to snap some photos of 50.

One of the cameramen managed to capture the entire incident on film.

The bodyguard is seen chasing after the photographers, swearing at them and even choking one of them, stealing and breaking their camera equipment.

According to YBF.com, it was stated that the bodyguard was arrested for assault and theft.

YBF.com reported that one of the paps, NIKOLOJ VRAAR told the press on Saturday:

“I feared for my life. One of 50 Cent’s bodyguards came out and told us to leave. The next thing I knew, he grabs my throat and tried to strangle me. He cut off my airway, and I couldn’t breathe,” he added. “He took my camera and deleted photos.”

 

“The bodyguard was arrested,” said Vraar, who is editor-in-chief for MSN Star Lounge.

He was taken to Copenhagen hospital to be checked out by doctors and said his next stop would be the police precinct.

“I will be going straight to the police station and complete whatever paperwork is necessary.”
