According to Taiwan News, a powerful earthquake has hit southern TAIWAN. The 6,4-magnitude quake was reported to be centered in KAOHSIUNG county at a depth of 3.1 miles. The quake is believed to have been felt as far away as the capital TAIPE in the north of the island.

Thankfully, no injuries have been reported.
