One of UK’S most valuable artists, KANO, came hard with his new music video “MORE THAN ONE WAY” produced by DUTCH OUTFIT NOISIA, accompanied by a children’s choir. The video was directed by Emil Nava , who also directed Tinchy Stryder‘s “You Are Not Alone” and Sugababes “Get Sexy” videos. Also responsible was John Perez, Director of Photography, who worked on videos such as Coldplay’s “Viva La Vida“, Jay-Z’s “Empire State Of Mind“).
According to KANO’s representatives, “MORE THAN ONE WAY” “is intended as a winter warmer to keep the home fires burning brightly ahead of further material and the new Kano album. BBC Radio 1 have already dubbed the new single as “The Hottest Song In The World ” (Zane Lowe) and “The Hottest Record In The Streets” (Tim Westwood).
The video conveys “an inspirational message to fans and followers over a sparse, atmospheric beat. The video for the song was shot at night on the River Thames during early December.”
KANO’s representatives also stated that the British rapper’s new album is “due out this spring and promises to be a significant milestone in the career of the London-born lyricist. At present, production credits include, ghetto-pop duo Radioclit (Santigold, MIA, The Very Best), Berlin’s electro-house upstart Boys Noize (Feist, A Trak, Bloc Party), purveyors of synthetic soul, Hot Chip, as well as long-term collaborators Mikey J and songwriter/producer Fraser T Smith.”
